Venti’s Goal When They Came To Us

Venti Legal is a highly specialized Ontario law firm that focuses on AGCO matters.

The AGCO (Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario) is the government body that decides who can sell alcohol and run gaming in the province. Venti helps businesses get the licences they need, stay within the rules, and handle problems with the regulator when they come up.

Venti already had a strong reputation offline. Clients trusted them, and work came in through referrals. But online, Venti did not exist. There was no website and no content, so anyone searching for help had no way to find them.

Success for Venti was defined in two key areas:

(1) Taking their established reputation and bringing it into the digital world with a brand new website built from scratch.

(2) Rolling out a written content strategy so that people searching on Google and asking AI tools like ChatGPT would find Venti and reach out.

We started with nothing, and our team at Hyve handled everything from start to finish.

Where We Started

We sat down with Venti's founding partner, Julian Natale, for a deep dive into his business.

We covered every service he offers, the industries he serves, and the types of clients he works with. We also got clear on what he does and does not do, how he wants to be positioned, and what makes him different from other lawyers in his space.

Most importantly, we mapped out the exact questions his buyers ask before they hire someone. This became the backbone of everything we built next, because the goal was never to publish content for the sake of it. Every piece had to connect back to real questions from real buyers so it could lead to real inquiries.

What We Implemented

Step 1: A website built properly from the ground up

We did not throw a site together with an AI tool or copy a template. We planned every page and how the pages connect, both what visitors see and what works behind the scenes.

This was so Venti’s new digital presence could be seen by Google and AI. Many websites are NOT like that. They look nice, but Google and AI tools can barely see them.

So we added hidden name tags in the website's code (called schema) that tell Google and AI tools who Venti is and what each page is about. We wrote the titles and descriptions that show up in search results (called metadata), like the label on a book's spine. We also set up every page so Google and AI tools could add it to their records, the way a library catalogs a new book.

We do this for every client because content only works if people can see it.

Step 2: Finding the right topics

Using our professional SEO tools (for getting found on Google) and AI visibility tools (for showing up when people ask tools like ChatGPT), we found the topics Venti had the best chance of winning. We skipped popular terms that only bring in people who won’t buy and focused on searches from people ready to hire now.

Step 3: Checking what real people are asking

We also manually collected the questions people ask in Google's "People Also Ask" section, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. This proved real people were searching for each topic before we wrote about it, and confirmed Venti could realistically rank for it.

Step 4: Content that sells before the first call

Every article answers buyers' burning questions, clears up common misunderstandings, and compares their options honestly. By the time someone reaches out, they already understand their situation, trust Venti's expertise, and know Venti is the right fit.

How It Turned Out

Venti Legal started with no website and no online presence at all.

Within 30 days, the full website was launched and the first content was live.

The first month was slow, which is normal for a brand new website. Google and AI tools need time to discover and trust a new site.

In month 2, inquiries started to trickle in.

By month 4, inbound inquiries were coming in consistently, and they have held at around 8 to 10 inquiries every month since.

To give you a quick insight, here is where Venti stands today:

(1) Full website launched and first content live within 30 days

(2) Over 50 pieces of content published since March

(3) Ranking number one on Google search, Google's AI Overviews (the AI written answer at the top of Google), and ChatGPT

(4) 8 to 10 inbound inquiries per month, consistently, from month four onward

And keep in mind, all of this was built from zero.

We are continuing to publish content and going after more competitive search terms, so Venti shows up across more AI platforms and for more of the questions their buyers are asking.
